He's Got the Whole World in His Hands

Tris missed church class Sunday to attend his lovely great grandmothers 80th birthday party. While we don't regret him being absent for that reason one bit, I was very grateful when Tristian's Sunday School teacher emailed me the craft they did. It was related to the "He's Got The Whole World In His Hands" song. So the boys did it today.
It was pretty easy. The boys colored with washable marjers on coffee filters in blue and green until it was mostly colored. Then I dipped them in water and laid them out to dry. Once dried we glued them to construction paper then added felt decorations. Last each boy put his palms in (a bit thinned out) glue and stamped them around the 'world' then we sprinkled colored sugar (or sand or glitter) over the glue. The class used finger paints, but we were out at home so we improvised =p
