I've meant to post a hundred times before now and just haven't had the time. I've got some updates on the boys medically that are both good and eh... Plus we've done some really fun stuff homeschool-wise (and we are starting on robotics!). Plus all sorts of pictures I need to go and post on past dates. I promise to try and write a more relevant post soon but for now I wanted to share our valentines for the Room and the Inn shelter this year.
You might remember last year's post about making valentines for the shelter our church helps with (CLICK HERE to see that post). This year my younger brother and his girlfriend came and helped- which the boys LOVED! It was a ton of fun for all of us ;-)
Every sack was hand decorated by one of two very artistic little boys. Inside each has a baggie with 6 homemade pink & blue sugar cookies with chocolate almond bark drizzled on top and shaped in the letters L O V E or hearts. Then the sacks were stapled shut with adorable little pin buttons in case anyone just wants a little color or memento of their valentine after the cookies are gone.
